Meghan Markle will "continue to brand herself away from Prince Harry" after the pair suffered an "avalanche of poor decisions", according to an expert.

The former Suits star, who turns 42 on Friday (August 4), is set to spend the next year reshaping her celebrity career after she and the Duke of Sussex suffered a series of career blows, claims expert Kinsey Schofield

The commentator added Meghan's bid for the limelight wouldn't be being helped by the "'difficult' label" she earned during her time as a royal.

"I think we will see Meghan continue to try to brand herself away from Prince Harry," Schofield told the Daily Star.

"She wants to be seen as chic and sophisticated. Ambitious. She does not appreciate the ‘difficult’ label that she currently has splashed across her forehead."

Schofield's speculation comes after Harry and Meghan's lucrative deal with Spotify was dropped back in June.

The pair's brand put out a joint statement with the streaming giant saying they had "mutually agreed to part ways" after two and a half years and one podcast series, Archetypes.

Meghan has since signed on with agents at WME with Hollywood sources and experts reckoning she's eyeing up a career pivot that will keep her in the spotlight.

But as she and her husband continue to fight to keep hold of their Netflix deal, Schofield said Hollywood big shots could have their work cut out with the ex-actress.

"[This] year saw a lot of public humiliation," Schofield added. "The South Park episode, the termination of her Spotify contract, negative reaction to the Netflix series and Spare.

“I think [Meghan’s agents] are taking a moment to regroup because Harry and Meghan have made an avalanche of poor decisions over the last three years that have resulted in public humiliation and isolation.

"Her new talent agency is attempting to turn Meghan into a marketable lifestyle personality. Becoming a power player in Hollywood seems to be the objective."
