Excerpts from former press secretary Stephanie Grisham’s book keep getting released prior to its publication in October. In “I’ll Take Your Questions Now: What I Saw in the Trump White House,” Melania Trump’s former chief of staff is giving no quarter to several high profile personalities she worked with, including Trump, Melania, Ivanka and Jared Kushner.

In a new extract released this week, she relates a meeting between Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin with a very special interpreter during the G20 summit in Japan in 2019.

“As the meeting began, Fiona Hill [former official at the U.S. National Security Council] leaned over and asked me if I had noticed Putin’s translator, who was a very attractive brunette woman with long hair, a pretty face, and a wonderful figure,” wrote the ex-press secretary.

“She proceeded to tell me that she suspected the woman had been selected by Putin specifically to distract our president.”

The woman in question is 36-year-old Daria Boyarskaya, a Russian Foreign Ministry specialist linguist who graduated from the St. Petersburg School of Conference Interpreting and Translation (SCIT).

The interpreter accompanied Putin in previous official meetings including one in 2016 between Putin and then US president Barack Obama in Hangzhou, China.

She also worked for Putin at a session with US National Security Advisor John Bolton in Moscow on October 23, 2018, according to the SCIT records.

A glamorous photoshoot of Ms Boyarskaya, an avid dancer, posing in a luxury gown and a leather dress with thigh-high boots in a baroque flat was revealed by Moscow based East2west news agency following Grisham’s claims.

The Kremlin has also released a statement denying that Vladimir Putin had anything to do with Daria Boyarskaya’s appointment as some kind of seducing weapon for Trump.

“Interpreters are provided by the foreign ministry at the request of the presidential administration,” said Dmitry Peskov.

“Putin himself is not involved in this process.”

Melania Trump also denied Stephanie Grisham’s claims regarding her tenure as First Lady.

The former chief of staff compared her to Marie Antoinette, writing that she was “the doomed French queen” and “Dismissive. Defeated. Detached.”

Grisham remembers texting Melania Trump on January 6th regarding what was happening at the Capitol: “Do you want to tweet that peaceful protests are the right of every American, but there is no place for lawlessness and violence?” and receiving a single “No” a minute later.

As reported by Grisham, the first lady was more concerned with setting up a photo shoot for a rug at the time.

A statement provided by the office of Melania Trump said: “The intent behind this book is obvious.

“It is an attempt to redeem herself after a poor performance as press secretary, failed personal relationships, and unprofessional behaviour in the White House.

“Through mistruth and betrayal, she seeks to gain relevance and money at the expense of Mrs Trump.”
