A cruel mum left her three young children in a park and killed her six-year-old boy when he tried to get back in the car.
The young child was tragically dragged along the road as she drove away.
Brittany Gosney brought three of her children to a park in Preble County in Ohio with the intention of abandoning them.
The 29-year-old sped away from the kids as her son, James Hutchinson, grabbed for the door handle but fell, on February 26.
He suffered a fatal blow to the head, and when Gosney returned 40 minutes later, she found him dead.
Gosney then took his body, and her other two kids, aged seven and nine, home.
The mum-of-four pleaded guilty to two counts of endangering children and one count of unclassified murder on Monday.
After bringing James' body home, she held it in a spare room for two days before trying to dispose of the body, prosecutors said.
Two days later her 43-year-old boyfriend James Hamilton allegedly helped her dump her son's body in the Ohio River, weighing him down with a concrete block.

After six months, his body has still not been found.
A memorial was held for the six-year-old in front of his former home in Middleton, Ohio, with the community paying tribute with balloons and teddy bears.
The cruel mother faces 15 years to life behind bars for murder and 36 months for each child endangerment charge.
Defense attorney David Washington told WLWT: "I think she obviously understands the significance of the decisions she made.
"I think that she’s going to have to deal with this the rest of her life and her children are going to have to deal with it the rest of their lives."
The court heard the mum faced pressure from her boyfriend over her children and had previously tried to relinquish custody of them but had no success.
She initially faced 16 felony charges related to involuntary manslaughter, and multiple counts of endangering children, abduction, and kidnapping.

Gosney originally pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity, but still stood in court following a psychological evaluation.
Hamilton also appeared in court and faces 15 charges for corpse abuse, endangering children, tampering with evidence, kidnapping, and abduction.
He pleaded not guilty to the judge with a jury trial taking place in October and remains in custody on a $750,000 bond (£543,000).
Gosney will appear in Butler County Court for sentencing on September 13.
Her other children were removed from the home and placed in foster care or child services, authorities said.
