The haunting final tweet from a YouTube star before he died has emerged.

Sir Kipsta, real name Alex Dragomir, posted a tragic last message on Twitter before dying after a seven-hour heart operation.

Devastated followers heard the news he had passed away from his sister.

The Man-U superfan posted less than 15 hours before family announced his death that he had a "great time".

Following the news of his death, Marcus Rashford and Good Morning Britain host Susanna Reid paid tribute to the 17-year-old, who hailed him as an "absolute superstar".

Alex wrote: "Going in for a life-saving procedure.

"If it don't work, then it's been a great time people. Thank you for all you've done for me."

His sister then informed his fans he had died as "his heart couldn't take it anymore".

He passed away after a seven-hour procedure, she said.

Alex suffered heart problems for some time and was in hospital while waiting for a transplant.

Posting on her brother's account, she said: “Heaven gained another angel. He was my rock, my everything."

His sister said he was a "special one".

"When I had him I wouldn't need to worry or go to anyone else, I would just forget," she said.
