(BLOOMBERG) – You would think that working from home means less trouble at work and less office politics. But the work-from-home phenomenon has triggered fresh frustration for US corporations: workers there are blowing the whistle on their employers like never before.
The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) received 6,900 tips alleging white-collar malfeasance in the fiscal year that ended Sept 30, a 31 per cent jump from the previous 12-month record.
