Mum and former teacher quits £36,000 job to sell saucy snaps on OnlyFans

A retired teacher has quit her job and starting selling saucy snaps on OnlyFans.

Jane Thomas-Charlton, 49, described it as as "escapism" and “fantasy" – which is "what everyone wants at the moment".

She used to make £36,000 a year as a special needs teacher in Durham, TeessideLive reports.

But she had to leave her role after her health took a downward spiral and started flogging pictures on the subscription service.

The mum-of-two, of Billingham, Stockton-on-Tees, said joining OnlyFans has boosted her confidence and her relationship with her husband.

She insisted it isn't all topless or racy photos and sometimes she will simply upload a picture of herself on the school run.

The most money she has earned in a day is £160.

She said: "I like to think of it as moving away from the seedy side of things.

"Some people want older ladies who are more natural, it's not all about being skinny and big lips. They just want natural and normal and I was all about that.

"Guys just want normal girls. Some of them just message saying 'how are you today?'. I was quite surprised."

Jane, who has been married for almost 20 years, added: "I just have a happy smile. You don't always have to be stood there topless."

She says she only uploads nice headshots on her main profile and likes to build a relationship up with people.

Jane said: "Sometimes I just take a picture after getting out the shower with a towel on to get people interested.

"Some people want to know what you look like with no makeup on."

When asked by young girls about the venture, she says: "Keep it real, keep it natural and keep safe."

Jane, who suffers from chronic health issues including fibromyalgia, cardiovascular angina and arthritis, "adored" her job but had to leave it due to her health in summer 2019.

The family was forced to live off her bus driver husband's income while waiting for her Universal Credit and teacher's pension to be accepted.

She said: "I do it to put food on the table."

Jane was introduced to Only Fans by a friend and says it fits in with her lifestyle as she "can't hold any sort of job down".

"One day I can't walk out of the front door the next I'll be in bed all day," she added.

She says it has also improved her relationship with her husband as it "gives me confidence", adding: "It's improved our sex life."
