Thursday’s high for Denver will be 44 degrees under mostly sunny skies, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. Temperatures will once again dip overnight, dropping to 22 degrees for New Year’s Eve in the metro area as clouds move in and block a nearly full moon.
New Year’s Day will be back up to 40 degrees with parity sunny skies as light winds will pick up from the northeast in the afternoon. Friday night will be chilly with a low of 19 degrees.
Saturday warms up even more as the sun takes over, and the high will reach 49 degrees. The temperature will slip into the 20s in the evening. Sunday and Monday could both have highs in the 50s.
