Shocking CCTV footage has emerged of a pensioner being hit in the head by a flying chair inside a Wetherspoons pub.

Stunned customers run to the pensioner's aid when he stumbles and falls to the ground upon impact.
Some are seen looking at the attacker, who is out of frame in the video.
The elderly remains on the floor and it is not known if he suffers serious injuries.
Other drinkers are seen trying to get him up while some go over to the staff area to confront the attacker.
The video, which was shared on social media, has gained over 133,000 views with users reacting to the violent incident.
Viewers commented: "Ghost chair caught on camera."
Another added: "Who throws a chair at a fella walking away with his back turned?"
A spokeswoman for Merseyside Police told Daily Star: "It doesn’t appear a report or complaint was made to us in relation to this incident."
She added that they have forwarded the video to their neighbourhood inspector and the licensing department to make them aware.
