Ivanka Trump discusses being 'competitive' like her father in 2014
Ms Trump posted a video showing off the first snowfall of the season from the White House, overlooking the Rose Garden. The White House adviser and her father will be leaving the building ahead of Mr Biden’s inauguration on January 20. But Twitter users took the opportunity to mock Ms Trump for the President’s election defeat.
Michael Rapaport, a comedian and actor, said: “Great time to start packing your s***.”
Gailen David, a TV producer, added: “Beautiful! But it will be better when you’re watching the snowfall through bars.”
More Twitter users also hurled insults at the President’s daughter, with one adding: “They get lots of snow at the Federal Penitentiary in Danbury, CT.
“You’ll have plenty of time to wax nostalgic while you’re incarcerated.”

One said: “Take a good look Princess Nepotism you’ll never have this view again….”
Another referenced the US’ coronavirus pandemic response and said: “Oh, those are not snowflakes, they’re frozen tears of the hundred of thousands who have died from covid thanks to your dad’s terrible leadership.”
The US has the highest death toll from the pandemic in the world, with 307,076 as of yesterday and according to Johns Hopkins University.
More users noted the video overlooking the White House Rose Garden, which was given a controversial makeover by First Lady Melania Trump.
One user said: “Still gasp when I see that bare to the knuckles rose garden. what a travesty.
Another added: “In the barren rose garden that now looks like a funeral home.”
Mrs Trump was mocked on social media at the time, with the First Lady unveiling the redesigned and pared back garden in August.

Pro-Trump supporters came to the President’s daughter’s defence, and backed her against the Twitter users mocking her post.
One said: “Saddened to see so much hate directed toward you, Ivanka, in response to your straightforward tweet about the first snowfall.
Another added: “Wow, so much hatred on your page. These people are incredibly sad if they just stalk people’s pages to be mean. They are in a dark place indeed.”
Graham Allen, podcast host, also mocked Democrat voters in the state by adding: “Only snowflakes we like to see in DC!”
Ms Trump has been heavily tipped to be her father’s successor in politics, with reports suggesting she could run for Senate in Florida.
The Trump daughter and Jared Kushner, her husband, have recently bought a property in Florida, leading experts to claim she is eyeing a career in politics.
A source close to Ms Trump said she could run for a seat currently taken by high profile Republican Marco Rubio, who has been a Senator for the state since 2011.
They added: “Ivanka definitely has political ambitions, no question about it. She wants to run for something, but that still needs to be figured out.”
